Common Questions
You're in the right place. Every appointment includes a consultation so you feel comfortable, confident, and know exactly what to expect.
We recommend getting your spray tan 2 days before your event. This allows the tan to fully develop over 24–48 hours and ensures any bronzer residue is rinsed away, leaving a smooth, even finish.
I use a curated selection of luxury solutions, including Dolce Glow and Sunnee Bae. Every tan is thoughtfully customized to you, ensuring a natural, radiant result tailored to your skin and your moment.
Simply prep your skin ahead of time and have a small open space available. I'll bring everything needed to create a clean, comfortable setup—so you can relax and enjoy a seamless, in-home glow experience.
Feel free to reach out—I'll do my best to accommodate your schedule when possible.
Yes—solutions are clean, skin-friendly, and customized. If you have concerns, we can always do a patch test.
Yes. Hormones, medications (like Accutane), and recent surgeries can alter your skin's pH, hydration levels, and sensitivity. This may affect how evenly or deeply the tan develops. Results can vary from session to session.
You should consult your physician before spray tanning during pregnancy. While DHA is approved for external use, spray tanning can involve inhalation of particles, which may be a concern. If approved by your doctor, ensure proper ventilation and protective gear (nose filters, goggles, lip balm).
DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is the active ingredient in most self-tanners and spray tan solutions. It is a colorless sugar that reacts with the amino acids in the outer layer of your skin to produce a bronze color. This reaction is non-toxic and occurs only on the surface layer of the skin.
Yes. Chlorine and saltwater can cause your tan to fade faster or become patchy. If swimming, rinse off immediately after and moisturize. For professional spray tan artists, we recommend trying our premium spray solution, which has enhanced longevity and resistance to water exposure.
Avoid sweating or getting wet during the development period, as it can affect your results.
Yes. Spray tans and self-tanners do not provide UV protection. Always apply an appropriate broad-spectrum SPF when exposed to the sun.
